Recognise
growth barriers

The first step is to recognize what holds us back. These are the fixed mindset barriers we might not even be aware of—like a fear of failure or a resistance to feedback. Reflect on this question: "What growth barriers are stopping me from being my best self?" By identifying these barriers, we can begin addressing and overcoming them.

Evaluate
mindsets

Once we’ve identified our barriers, we need to assess the shift that’s necessary to move from fixed to growth mindset. This means looking at our fixed mindsets and asking, "What fixed mindsets do I need to let go of, and what growth mindsets can replace them?" This is where we start moving from self-limiting beliefs to those that expand our potential.

Setup
experiments

With our goals in mind, the next step is to experiment. We’ll set up small habit-shifting actions—simple, manageable changes that help us test new behaviors. These experiments allow us to see what works in real life and adjust as needed. Think of these as practice runs, generating small wins that build momentum for bigger changes.

Examine
new behavior

After running our experiments, it’s crucial to evaluate their impact. What are we learning? Is this change helping us let go of the fixed mindset patterns that held us back? At this stage, we’re collecting proof that reinforces our shift towards a growth mindset. The question to reflect on here is: "What proof am I gaining that helps me let go of old patterns?"

Transform to new 
working rituals

Finally, when a new behavior or approach proves effective, we want to make it a lasting part of our work. This means transforming it into a ritual—a regular practice that becomes second nature. Ask yourself, "How will I embed these best practices into repeatable and scalable rituals?" This step cements the growth mindset into our daily routines, supporting ongoing development.
